Literacy Outreach is the Great Falls Tribune Newspapers in Education (NIE) program. We deliver over 5000 newspapers a week to Montana classrooms free of cost to teachers and schools. Teachers use these papers to teach subjects from Art to Science. Want to get your class involved?

-Materials: The Great Falls Tribune prints content materials that you can only get from us. We can keep you posted on this so you can take full advantage of these special issues, sections and articles.

-Teacher Workshops: Literacy Outreach coordinator and Montana certified teacher Alex Rosenleaf can bring the resources of the Great Falls Tribune to a teacher workshop for your school or district. Literacy Outreach offers a full 5 hour “How to use the newspaper in your classroom” workshop for Montana OPI renewal units. We can also tailor a shorter workshop for your needs, and many of them can count for renewal units. Please contact Alex for more details.
